Hello everyone welcome to my EnerChi Meditatons website. Im 36, I have 3 sons and 1 daughter. Im a work leader of an aircraft maintenance crew. I like skateboarding, waking boarding, camping, boating, and meditation. Meditation has been a passion of mine since I was 14 years old, and over the years I’ve purchased numerous products to aid in meditation, read several books, and tried every type of meditation you could think of to improve my skills and knowledge on meditation.
As a kid I loved martial arts and watching martial art movies. I enrolled in Tae Kwon Do at a local dojo when I was 10 years old. My Tae Kwon Do instructor introduced me to meditation. Before class and all times in between we would just stop and meditate, he taught us to control our breathing and remain calm so we wouldn’t wear out and be breathing so hard we couldn’t talk. I was hooked, and that’s when I began my journey, of trying every type of meditation I could find and read about.
Now I want to give back.
Over the years I learned a lot about meditation and how through meditation you can train your body and mind to feel good and have a sense of well-being all the time, lowering your stress and anxiety and just being happy, you can train yourself to control your own emotions and not let people or everyday life change your feelings… and I want to offer others some insight into meditation, training aids, and supplies that will help you have a quality meditation.
A story of how meditation changed my life.
As I grew into a young man I stopped meditating and taking martial arts. I had my first kid when I was 20, married, and had a full time job. Me and my wife would constantly fight, I would always get mad and punch things and break stuff. I punched holes in the wall, slammed her curling iron in the ground, punched the passenger window out in our car, I even punched through a solid oak cabinet and broke my hand. I had to replace and fix all those things and get surgery on my hand, all which were very expensive. I remembered the happiness I had as a kid and teenager during the times I always meditated. I began meditating again and every time something made me mad I would just meditate and then deal with it. I learned life is too short to be mad and meditation has helped me get rid of anger out of my life and learn patience. It has also helped me in my relationships.
They say practice make perfect
Here we are years later and I honestly cant remember the last time I was mad. My oldest, 16 year old son, asked me, ” is it because you meditate why you never get mad at us”. I Said, ” yes I guess so”. I didn’t realize it had impacted my kids life as well as mine. My goal is to take the knowledge and years of experience in meditation to teach other people about it. So if I could give some advice, pointers, and recommendations on meditation to help others become happier, that would be a great joy.
